Warm with Christmas Spirit!

I went to the show with my husband, 9 year old son and 7 year old daughter. Overall we really enjoyed the ballet. We see it every year and it really marks the season for us - it doesn't feel like Christmas unless we see the Nutcracker. The reason I gave it 3 stars was because of the story line. It was difficult to follow and the second act was much less engaging than the first act. I enjoyed the Louisiana themed moments but really wished we saw more of the Nutcracker himself. The Nutcracker in his red, white, and blue uniform is what we go to see! He only appeared in the first act - leaving the second act to feel as if it was a whole different story line all together.
